I was just visiting with some of my neighbors. They have been living on this canal since 1947. They showed some of their pictures. They had Bull Sharks, Sea Otters, and all kinds of marine animals.

Not anymore. We see, and feed Manatees fresh water, but the big animals are disappearing.
The neighbor told me that when the Apollo project was ended that people left the area and the animals came back.
U.S. Fish & Wildlife, estimate that 10 gallons of motor oil is leaked into this region daily. That only accounts for 63,000 pleasure craft.
I think people come first, unless there is a “Good Available Substitute” for the land they occupy.
If an imminent domain situation should arise here, I will put my house up for sale first. I do not believe I should deprive our children from witnessing what I saw today.
