Police search for infant in Raritan River
(02/17/10) WOODBRIDGE - Police say they are searching for a 3-month-old girl who was thrown off the Driscoll Bridge by her father Tuesday night.
Investigators say 21-year-old Shamshiddin Abdur-Raheem, of Galloway, admits he threw his daughter off the bridge after abducting her from the East Orange home of her grandmother following a domestic dispute.

Police say they later found Abdur-Raheem at a family member's residence in Camden County.

The search for the infant has been under way since Tuesday night on the southbound side of the Driscoll Bridge.
