Yes Eric, I do get involved in these political discussions, yes I am a hawk, yes I'm a bit to the right of the John Birch Society. Yes as much as I hate war, I have the perfect solution for Iraq and Afghanistan and it's not nukes. Yes, war is hell and people get killed. Remember the bombing of Dresden in WWII. We no longer fight wars, we only pander to political groups as to not offend alienating anyone by not doing anything politically incorrect. Look at the civilian casualties in WWII. And though I do NOT want to see any nuclear devices brought into this, See how fast WWII with Japan was ended with sending a horrific but convincing message.

As far as Bill Clinton, had he heeded to the offer of having Osama handed to him on a plate more than once (if my memeory serves me), chances are we wouldn't be in this debacle we are in today nor would we have a president that imho didn't win for any reasons other that a vote for him was a statement against Bush.
Personally if Captain Kangaroo were on the ticket, he would have probably won and might be doing a better job
