Re: The last to operate in FL was the Dolphin IV

I was on it in the mid-90's. It ported out of New york monday morning for a historical cruise up to Nova Scotia, then did a cruise to nowhere on the weekends. In the winters, they went down to miami.

I can't remember the name of the casino on the Island breeze, as crew were never allowed in it. Not even when it was docked or just to cut through. Big no-no.

All of them had Greek sailing crews and I could tell you some stories that would make you think twice about venturing below decks.

Most of them were known for have cheap short cruises or cruises to nowhere. Of course, what they didn't tell you was that liquor was not included in the price. And drinks were steep! Unless you could find the crew bar, which I wouldn't recommend without an escort (see above)
