Re:
Andy's Opinion of new HR Casino
I stayed at the HRH vegas 2 weeks ago for one night. My room was in the old tower but thats ok. I thought the newly remodelled hotel is nicer/cooler. The new areas are really not that big. Yes the cage has been moved and it seems to be away from the majority of the casino playing space. But that might be also on purpose to get you to walk past all the machines and tables and tempt you with more play in the hopes that you return some of your winnings, one never knows but there are reasons for everything in the casinos and its all built around them taking your money. I like that you can enter the parking facility from Harmon right before you actually hit the hotel itself. Some of the new memorabilia is real cool. Near the convention space they have an entire wall that was a billboard in hollywood for the release of the Elton John album "Captain Fantastic..." I believe its the only surviving billboard from that period. Real nice, an entire wall. There is a second bar now, in the new area. Maybe it was my imagination but the place seemed to be packed with so called "Working girls" and I was there on a Sunday night and it was quiet. Im a big fan of the HRH's and a pretty big collector so I have a biased opinion when it comes to the Rock. If you ever get a chance, check out the Tulsa HRH, now thats a real nice one. I was there in October and I am planning on going back in April.
