I announced at the Jan. 31st A C Club meeting that I would not be running for re-election as President of the Atlantic City Casino Colllectibles Club when nominations are open for Club officers at the January 2011 meeting. I will serve out my term which ends in May of 2011. I will still be active in the Club and the Hobby.

I have been a Club Officer since 1994 - Secretary and then President. When I leave office in 2011 I will have served for 17 consecutive years as a Club Officer. I feel it is time to let someone else take over as President - I also be 65 in March of 2011.

I made the annoucement a year in advance to give Club members a chance to step up and serve the Club. I will work closely with whoever takes over as President to keep the Club moving forward. I'll be glad to show the new President all the things that have to be done to run the Club. I will also introduce the new President to all the Casino officials we work with to schedule and run the Club meeting, etc.

I know there are Club members who are qualified to take over and move the Club forward. If anyone is interested in being Club President, please contact me so we can discuss the future of the Club and plan for a smooth transition.

I am proud of the contributions I and the other Club officers have made over the years in keeping the A C Club operating as the largest and most active regional Club in the hobby.
