Not to repeat myself but if I have to travel to A/C (135 Miles for me) to get a toaster or Bethlehem (85 miles) and a $300-$550 coin offer, it's a no brainer.
Things will even change more when table games arrive in a few months followed by the completion of their 300 room hotel which they see already will be way to small.
As long as they keep treating their customers right with service and offers and payouts, they will come.
Once greed enter the picture people there will leave for greener pastures also.
Only a few years ago A/C casino still used their RFB ( Room Food and Beverage) policy. The norm was $150 a day for food plus a 10% allowance to go over plus $100 room service all that is totally gone
Things like the Sunday Buffet are also gone ever since they raised the prices to $45.
Vegas is smart enough to still use food as a loss leader as it brings people, in A/C they never saw it that way.
I think though to be fair, the biggest problem is that A/C casinos are so heavily levereged with debt they have no choice, well in their eyes anyway.
I always felt to make money, you have to spend money first.
