the red on the "bold" chip seemed to fluoresce a little but not enough for me to claim anything definitive. Unfortunately I purchased the wrong bulb and cannot see anything well under my light. I'll need to check later this evening. I'll stop by the store and pick up a better fluorescent lamp.
