I know Michael, that would be like asking me to sell my Cuban or Dominican collection, one of which I would probably have to sell to buy yours (LOL).
And thanks for your thoughts/words. We complete our "matching" period tomorrow and thus the money collected, pick up the Hospital material next week and should be leaving the following week with the money and the goodies. Return ??? when my body tells me I am too old to be doing this.
Take care, is always great to trade with you. I may bring you a great surprise if I survive. There is an old, old, casino in the Southwest of the DR in the only real hotel in that arid empty part of the country by the Haitian border. Nobody I know has ever seen a chip from there, they do not even have US$ denominations, only DR$. Never enough time to go there, too far. The place was "invaded" by Haitians soon after the catastrophe with up to 15-20 poor souls sleeping there per room every night. There went my secret hotel. But, USA/UN came in took the Haitians to a different place and in a week re-built the hotel and casino as there was no place for journalists, high military commands, etc and the Hotel/Casino is back open for operations. I will be working about an hour from there, I am sure I will find somebody to go and buy as many as they will sell (probably very few as I suspect the casino has very few, old chips and will be guarding them dearly).
If I can get them, you get first shot- in exchange for a nice Aruba trader, Luis
