We missed you, Barry.
When I left Long Island at 2pm on Saturday it was cloudy, but dry. About thirty miles from Atlantic City on the Garden State Parkway I ran into some snow flurries. The flurries got heavier the closer we got to Atlantic City. Traffic on the GSP was down to 10 to 15 miles per hour with numerous cars running off the road into the trees. In Absecon it was a blizzard. 15 degrees outside, the wind was howling and the snow steady and hard. The roads were not plowed, it was driving on snow and ice. Well I made it through the evening without incident, except for leaving some money at the casino. Had I known what I was going to run into, I would not have left home. The crowd at the club meeting was decent, maybe 50 to 60, considering the weather. I wish that every club member could come to the next meeting and see what a great place we have at Bally's. It is the best room the club has ever had. Large room, great set up, walk by traffic, and centrally located on the Boardwalk.
