using after-market ink, so am in the market for a new AIO that WILL scan those bright colors, as well as dark. The Cannon did great on those, but, as you all know, most AIO's will not scan the bright colors. I brought home a Kodak. It was only $120.00 on sale at Staples, and the ink replacements are affordable, but, alas, it will not scan the bright colors.

SOOO, I am wondering. Maybe I should keep this Kodak for printing, and get something that just scans, or maybe a digital camera, which I would like to get anyway.

What are your experiences in this. I would really like to hear your thought.
