() On my colored-in satellite pic, this is my opinion: The original casino and hotel lobby is shown in green. original hotel rooms are in light blue. original pool is in yellow. The historic "brick wall" marquee was where the red arrow points, where you can see the cutaway at the correct angle through the roof?
Future expansions can be seen in Pam's second pic, and you can see the lines still in the satellite shot close by the lines in magenta following the same rooflines back to the 24 story tower. More rooms added at the south side of the property in magenta also- current site of the two parking garages.
My verdict is that NONE of the original 1952 hotel/casino still exists after various expansions. The original casino looks to be where the current NASCAR cafe is, and all of the original rooms have since been removed also.
Im curious to see if any of you agree with my deductions, and welcome any comments.
