I too have the chip that Brian has shown from the Pioneer Hotel. It's one of my favorites even though it's only a hot stamp.
In any case, you can see the sign hanging over the dice table advertising 10¢ craps. No need to wonder what the dime chip was used for.
You can also see "Pioneer Hotel" on a sign in the left half of the picture.
Any guesses as to the era based on clothing/type of slot machines?
