Dice companies used to use plastic boxes with foam/sponge rubber inserts to hold six dice (maybe they still do?). At least some of those foam inserts had chemical reactions with the materials that were used to manufacture some of the dice. Don't know if all of the inserts caused a problem...don't know if all of the dice were susceptible (sp???).

All in all, I'd give it a definite maybe . Of course I can't find any to show you...though I KNOW we have some...
