I prefer full books. Yep...they're harder to store, and more of a fire hazard, but without the matches it's a piece of cardboard.

I also prefer a partial book to just the cover.

If it's a book that I have duplicates of, then I might shuck one and keep the other intact...especially a newer book.

That said...I'd prefer just a cover to nothing.
