The chip you showed is the never used, canceled chip that Greg also shows on his Chipguide. I can see the cancellation design in your photo. The gold hot stamping was removed with finger nail polish or something. You mentioned texture on the inlay, that's the remains of the canceling. Twist it to the light and you will see the pin wheel design. It's easy to be fooled if you're not familiar with the Argosy chips. I would love to find one that was indeed, never canceled.
