they are picture/feature matches inside.
Been a collector for 45 years and most members in the various clubs I have belonged to, prefer mint(unstruck) covers. They carry well. They display well. The staples and matches cannot then deteriorate and harm your covers,etc. PLUS....you can get hundreds into an album and have no worries trading through the mail.
Your option of course.
