I think most everyone would pay off a $30,000 ticket instantly; but only use the tool in order to rack up points. I'm just curious why everyone has the same $32,200 limit... if it has anything to do with credit card laws or something. I've had my Master Card since 1966 (printed right on card) and I've been racking up Home Depot gift cards and Ritz-Carlton Dollars to the tune of over $300 a month, but I use my card for virtually everything and pay it off instantly; never, ever since 1966 giving them a dime in interest as most of us probably do (as noted in your original thread).
I wonder if this is possible: Purchase at the 0% and and in a few days call Ford, GMAC or whomever to satisfy the loan with a credit card; meaning one would bypass the dealer in order to rack up $30,000 in points -- or am I missing something (not hard for me to do )?
