Maybe we got there on a bad night, Ross..or maybe it has gone downhill? There was an elderly lady there just livid..she told me she has been going there for 20 years, and not only has the food quality gone downhill, but they were also out of several items (empty food trays).

The other buffet we tried was the Golden Nugget. Was pretty good, but the Main Street Buffet was 1/2 the price and the quality we felt was superior.

The Main Street Buffet is one of the coupons from the Fremony Experience coupon book you can print for free. Just show, or sign up for, a Club Coast Card (Sam's Town/Orleans/Gold Coast/Main Street/Fremont/California, etc) any they will give you a 2 for 1 voucher..ended up cost around $12 for 2 very good buffets..

P.S. if you go to Main Street Station, it is easiest to get there by taking the walking bridge from the California Hotel..
