Yes, I do complain a lot with good reason especially when I see people in this country that don't know where their next meal is coming from.

While you are doing your research, I would be truly interested in knowing how much of the monies that we have loaned NOT given to the world have ever been repaid.
Try going to your local bank (well in your case you are the local bank grin ) try to first get a loan and if you can see what happens to you if they don't get their money back.
For once, I would love to get a government loan for a million dollars to further my business and then receive a letter telling me I don't have to pay it back.

As i said, I don't doubt what you say but I would love to know where you get all your facts from.

Great Britain just recently, I think it was in 2006 or 2007 finished paying back their WWII debt.
West Germany paid back a portion of it and the rest was forgiven. How many countries never paid back a dime?
