Today At The Post Office
I mailed 4 small white envelopes. Each envelope had a chip inside a flip and then a cardboard coffee cup holder with a piece of paper around it. One envelope was different than the other three. It had a check inside.
Three of the envelopes weighted .9 oz and were 64 cents each to mail.
The fourth envelope weighted 1.1 ozs and was 61 cents to mail. The clerk tried to explain why, but he really wasn't sure himself. So from now on if I want to save three cents I need to wrap the chip in two pieces of paper and hope the same clerk is on the counter or who knows what I will pay.
