John, I have seen that on the North Dallas turnpike during maintenance years ago and you were just sent a bill with a short time limit to pay – if the time limit elapsed then you were fined.

My son was going to college at UNT and some of the kids came up with a hair brain idea to avoid the tolls. It worked well until the violations stacked up and they traced the registration back to ME and said I owed over $300 in fines. I paid it THEN called my son and told him I wanted a CASHIER’S CHECK in the mail THAT day OR I was flying to Dallas and driving his car home and he could ride the damn bus for all I cared! All over $11 worth of tolls!! THAT was in the top ten “Most Pissed Moments with My Son.”
