The way I see it... the TV people want to create a shortage of old rare items that people forgot up in the rafters. Don't fall for the plan, it's all a conspiracy! In fact, everyone needs to find something old right now. March down into your basement (or crawl space) and hide it for some other treasure hunter to find some day. Put an old newspaper with a headline you like in a plastic bag, and stash it. Create your own personal time capsule.

Want proof? Where would we be getting all these old chips, tokens, matchbooks, postcards, ashtrays, photos, swizzle sticks, if people threw everything away.

My advice Tammy, put it back where you found it! Maybe spray a coating of CRC, LPS or WD-40 on the can first, but some day, someone else will have the joy of finding some old rusty can of Studebaker anti-freeze up there. If you throw it out, there's nothing but dust.
