Harrah's has the indoor pool which they turn into a very successful night club at night on the weekends.
Showboat has the HOB & Foundation Room.
Caesar's has a night club called Dusk.
Tropicana and Taj has their nightclubs for the younger crowd as well.
All these places + The Borgata help to pull in the young crowd on the weekends.
Oh, I forgot Boogie Nights at Resorts on Friday and Saturday which attracts all kinds of age groups.
In the summer we saw the show at Trump Plaza and thought it was very entertaining for $25/person + 1 free drink - although my tickets were free. I have also seen several "cooking" events advertised at some of the hotels with Foodnetwork chefs doing something at the places. Borgata had something one night where the top signature chefs(Bobby Flay, Wolfgang Puck, etc.) from all their restuarants were together to serve food for a set price with wine included. Sounded neat, but I didn't have the opportunity to attend.
Don Marandino is back in charge of the 4 Harrah's properties and I think he will do even more to beef up the entertainment at his casinos. You can bet we'll see Sammy Hagar again this year at one of his casinos . Sammy even said, "If Don is there, I'll be there to perform".
As far as restaurants go, I think there is a great selection at the casinos considering the number of casinos in Atlantic City, but then again I'm not a brunch or buffet person, so if good buffets have gone by the way side I wouldn't know that.
