Even though I have a fairly good scanner, an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo, I am sometimes not thrilled with the results. I think that I can do better with a digital SLR camera, fixed length macro lens, camera stand, and lighting. But before I take the plunge, has anyone tried this? Any recommendations?
