Here is a VCR tape of the Implosion of the Mapes Hotel & Casino in Reno Nevada on January 30th 2000. The Mapes opened on Dec. 17th 1947. It was the first Hotel in the Country to house a Casino, Hotel and live Entertainment under one roof. In 1982, 35 years to the day the Mapes closed its doors.
