Royal Caribbean has two ships in the Oasis Class of vessels -- the Oasis Of The Seas and the Allure Of The Seas. The Oasis launched in 2009 and the Allure is the newest of this class. It made a call on New York earlier this year where it was featured on the Today Show With Kathie Lee Gifford. Special Crown and Anchor members, the loyalist of all the RCI cruisers, were invited to be on board the Allure for its television introduction. It is my guess, the overnight stay included some casino games fun and RCI probably provided some special chips for its guests. If the chip came from the Oasis, it would have surfaced sooner since most "wet" chip collectors already have all the Oasis chips. I am interested in learning more about these chips. Sort of like Princess Cruise Lines has in the past given match play chips to elite and above cruisers by leaving an invitation in passenger's cabins to exchange for special NCV chips to be played on even-money tables.
