..we had much of our family around yesterday for a pre-Christmas get together, although the journey was a little slow for those who came because of the snow here. My Dad couldn't here because his village was cut off (only hills on the 2 roads out and too minor a route for road gritters to do down there!), but we'll see him soon.

But it was nice to just have nearly everyone together - kids playing, my brother-in-law trying to teach my 10-year-old daughter the Animals House of the Rising Sun on the guitar (she's just learning but doing really well), a few snow-balls outside....just nice family fun. What could be better
