I bought a Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router Model WRT160N. I installed the software and followed the instruction on the sccreen - step by step - like a good boy trying to learn.
Everything went good, the username, password, SSID, Higher Security (WPA/WPA2), network security key (mixed with numbers and alpha and connection type:keep alive.
So far so good - but when I went to the other PC to setup the wireless connection - I got lost. Here in this stage I installed the software first, then the card with one ear - nothing doing, no matter what I did I could not "connect wirelessly".
I did the same thing with the Sony Laptop - Software First, then the adaptor, nothing doing.
I use my two other laptops - they could not but somehow - I lost now and then the connection and fill up the Network Security Key everytime I lost the wireless connection.
I gave up, thank GOD I have #1 hair cut - otherwise I will be pulling my hair.
This is the reason I am posting this to get some views and experiences. If you have done this particular aspect, can you share your experiences.
Going to the website on how to do it - is also frustrating because they are all interest of doing it for the money.
I WANT TO TRADE PC KNOW-HOW - I know how to spent $.25 to have a "dual monitors" in one PC. I am using two monitors in one PC.
You can post here or email me with the help! Thank you much.
