Yes, I'm sure some of the high denoms were pulled and the backups brought out. It would be very difficult for someone off the street to come in and cash out a large bunch of high denomination chips. That being said most people don't realize there are deposit boxes containing million's and I mean millions of dollars in cash and chips in the poker room. It would not be hard for a known player to insert the stolen chips with his stash. Actually it is posible the theft could be part of a conspiracy. Police and corporate security will have a plan and time limit in place for cashing out and converting everyone.
