I just found out that Southwest increased their booking calendar out to August so I booked today. Unfortunately it cost $321 but at least 90% of that was covered by my bump certificates from the cruise a few weeks ago. The last few years air fares have done nothing but gone up as the convention nears and it is probably WSOP week again so the planes may be full. I also got a few days at Circus for before the convention for $23 per nite but that is easy to cancel if I find something better. Now the question is has anyone got a good lead on cheap cars? Best rate I see is $114 for a week but after taxes it comes to almost $200. For the first time in years I may actually pass on getting a car. I can get a lot of cabs for $200.
