I sent that chip. Yes it had the correct postage, was stamped NON-MACHINEABLE and the chip was in a flip and foam wrapping protecting it. I normally ship SINGLE chip orders that way since I don't see the difference between a bubble wrap package and a chip wrapped in bubble wrap in an envelope. I have done this hundreds of times and this is only the first or second one to be destroyed. Occasionally even a bubble wrap mailer gets destroyed by our great postal employees. We just have no control over if they run it thru the machine even though it says nonmachineable on it! Part of the problem may be the time of year. With so many Christmas cards going thru the mail they probably are not as careful how they handle each unit.
