just a question, why does the race of the individuals involved have to come into play in the stories told in this post? substitute any race and we all can envision the event happening.

I'll throw this one out.......I worked in a restaurant in college with a serve yourself salad bar. an elderly WHITE couple came in and sat down. they already had their plates for salad, water glasses, and silverware. this was odd because they didn't seem to have a receipt (you paid first) nor did the cashier actually remember them ordering. Also, it was mid day so it was pretty slow. not too hard to remember what customers did what when they came in.

the couple finished eating and got up from their table. the cashier came back from the restroom and reported that she saw the woman cleaning off the plates and putting the dishes in her bag while in the restroom.
