I not only did not rule out the option of the chips before and behind my chips as being the same I completye beileve they were. My assumption is that the entire box has insert color transfers that are green, and as you stated, the 1st and last chips in the box would have color trasfer only on one side. THOSE, in my humble opinion, would be extrememely rare, and scare.
