Sunday,
It would appear that your computer has contracted some sort of virus or infection (malicious code) that has obtained your contacts list and then sends bogus emails to those people as if it was from your Yahoo account.
If I am not mistaken, the malicious code is not using your Yahoo account to send mail, it is spoofing your Yahoo account as the sender. If access to your password was required to do what this thing is doing, then changing the password would only have the thing knowing it again.
If you have done nothing to get rid of this malicious code (like running an anti-vitus program) then it is still there and will continue to send false emails.
Again, I am sorry this is happening to you, but it takes more than just changing your password to a mail server (Yahoo) that doesn't even reside on your computer. The malicious code is on your computer, not Yahoo's.
There are several places you can go (on the Internet) to get your computer scanned for free. (The scan is free, but fixing and future protection costs.) I don't know the locations off-hand, but use Google to do a search.
Otherwise, there are several resources here that can give you advice.
Good Luck,
Jim
ps. I was not a recipient of the first email, but I did get the current one. It included about 10 other recipients, including some chippers, of which Steve Bedo got 2!
