I checked at the Flamingo last night, and was told they are just a re-order of this june's 'new'chip with the flamingo bird above the logo. I told her I thought they did not need a new NGC approval unless there was a change in the design- she never heard if that was true..... Was I right?

Many chips are being changed recently because of the need for a 'makers' marking - (the hat & cane logo in this case) that must be on each chip, but the Flamingo was using a hat & cane mold that showed it was a paulson manufacture.

The new MGM chip is on the tables and Ebay, and I will be checking the Excalibur probably tuesday evening.

The new Colorado Belle sounds interesting- did the new 'foil' inserts not work out and need replacing?
