Long story behind it (for another time) but that was when I learned that "quarters" are not 25 cents. Bottom line was, "Sure you can buy quarters, all you want. How many you want?" I said eight and was asked for $200 in exchanged!

But my short story is about that blackjack table in the background, just beyond that One-Armed Bandit. It does not have a slot for dropping cash into a metal box. Instead, there is a pull out drawer at the dealer's waistline. When you buy-in, the dealer opens the draw and drops the cash into the drawer. When you cash out, the chips go to the rack and the money comes back out of the drawer.
