You don't always have two actual chips to compare your chip colors to. If the type face difference actually correlates to the red and the orange print color, why not specify that? Saying "crossbar on E not centered" is sufficient and doesn't require another chip for a visual comparison. As first posted, the "G" is also of a different style, but describing one letter difference is probably sufficient in TCR.
I generally don't pay much attention to varieties that differ only slightly in color. However chips with a different type style, even on just a few letters means an designer redid the artwork when a new batch of chips was made.
