In the UK pretty much everywhere inside is no-smoking - as a non-smoker obviously I prefer places that are not too smokey, but I do think venues should be able to decide and people can make the choice whether to enter or not. Sometimes I do though miss the 'traditional' mix of smoke and beer in a pub - they can be a little sterile these days!

We don't even allow smoking in company vehicles (on the basis that someone else might use the vehicle), so a one-man company owner can't smoke in his own vehicle (if owned or leased by the company he/she owns!)!

And it's always true - you can't please everyone all of the time - c'est la vie
