Several convention attendees were told that they could not smoke in the hallway by hotel security assigned to the front door to the convention floor ... but evidently at past conventions (ours and others) it was not enforced ... which is what started the whole controversy.

What transpired at past conventions (at SP and other hotels) has nothing to do with what SP decided to enforce at our 2010 convention. Why the change in policy, who knows..., but it certainly was not the doing of the Steffner's.
