... if the casino issues the chips for use and you decide you want to keep some, get them to tell you why they are using them, write the casino name, location, date, reason for use, and tip the dealer to sign the documentation (napkin usually works, especially, if the napkin has the casino name on it). Yes, do not take the chips back to the casino on your next visit, because they may confiscate them or try to replace them. Although, I don't know why they would do that if the casino issued them to be used in their casino in the first place, unless... the chips may not meet certain standards/requirements or break some sort gaming laws.
