Just curious about something you just talked about here - if there were 1,000 $100 chips, and for arguements sake 600 were in the safe and 400 on the tables, I assume the casino would have to allow for the fact in the daily reconciliation that some were in the hands of players who had not cashed in, maybe staying at the casino for a few days?
Does that mean that, if they assme say 100 chips were in the hands of players then there should be around 900 in the floats and safe, and so if they suddenly find they have 980 then something 'may' be wrong (as of course it could just be a day where everyone cashed in their chips!).
Or is the alarm only raised when they suddenly have 1,050 $100 chips
Of course you may not be able to tell me (not without then killing me straight away )
