Pam wrote.......
"you had the pleasure of knowing all those wonderful people, and having all those great experiences."
That is very true, Pam. I have seen & done a lot in my 30 years here in Las Vegas. Maybe I should team up with "Mr. P" & write a book.
As to...
"Sometimes I wonder...20 or 30 or 40 years from now, will 2010 be part of "the good ol' days"...??"
That will never happen, nobody will think these were the good ol' days. Las Vegas has to be the hardest hit city in the country with the way the economy is these days.
People come here to Las Vegas & see people on the strip & think things are not so bad here. But if they took the time to drive around town AWAY from the strip they would see strip mall after strip mall with numerous vacant shops. When I am out & about I make it a habit to drive through strip malls to see what they look like & it's the same all over...BAD. So many places vacant & some strip malls look like ghost towns.
Of course you already know about the problems with foreclosures here. And now with the problem with the foreclosure paperwork & the freeze by Bank of America on foreclosures in all 50 states, along with other banks, it is only going to get worse here for a lot of people.
