~~~ regarding the "smoking policy" at the time of contract -- which would seem to reflect the wishes of the majority of those attending the conventions. Perhaps we should follow the request of the majority of those attending our convention as well -- such as majority wins.

Yes, I understand "we cannot vote on every little issue that comes up" but I would think there are more than just a few who feel smoking in a room/hallway is not a little issue.

I say put it in front of membership (those who will be attending).
