merits and foolishness of smoking vs. not smoking, but since you brought this subject up, I thought I would independently call the SouthPoint Conference Center Sales (702-797-8050) and just ask them what their smoking policy was for the Conference Center and then specifically for that hallway outside the Grand Ballroom.

The answer was, No Smoking.

I have not witnessed any behavior contrary to that policy, so I certainly cannot take them to task for what is hearsay to me.

Have you been to Don Vito's at the SouthPoint and tried their garlic relish? I think it's fabulous!
