Good point Larry. Just this past weekend, Brenda and I asked for room keys at Ballys in A.C., expecting to receive the newly issued Boardwalk Empire keys. The clerk was very helpful and came up with three Boardwalk Empire keys for us ... but also gave us a couple of the Claridge Tower keys and several different generic SAFLOCK keys they were using. No way am I considering the generics as a Bally's issue ... as they were not made for Bally's. That's why they call them "generic" ... or "universal".
