Sorry that I was not on the BB yesterday but Gene was correct [again] on this chip.
Dean Furst- or Dean First as he may have been called- was one of the owners of the First Greyhound club in 1933. His other partners were "Weezer" J. Gavin [I believe a WJG chip is currently on ebay] and his two brothers Jim and Bill Gavin. The Greyhound club was burnt to the Groud in what the newspaper called a "Mysterious Fire". Dean Furst was not listed as having any points in the next two Greyhound clubs.
The chips were shipped to him at the Louisville hotel in Louisville Ky.
Nice chip and a hard one to find. I would like to buy one for one of my "Pickers".LMK if you have an extra.
