Blanks sold by Borland do not constitute Borland chips.
Are you saying you actually ordered hot-stamped chips through Bill Borland?
I purchased blank chips and had them stamped with my die + TR King denominations (now owned by Blue Chip). The intent, as in the auction, was to take my existing chips and add the Borland chips as 500 and 1000 to have a functional tournament set.
If they're not in fact Borland, what are they?
I did a group buy on where a seller had around 5000-6000 ASM Nevada Mold chips -- green, white, red, and black. I am keeping the cash set, selling off the tournament set. My cash set is mostly made up of white $1's, and Borland $5's. The $5's are peach / chocolate brown dove tails. Please see the picture.
So it's not like I threw this set together trying to make a buck, I'm actually losing money at the asking price. I simply made a tournament set, and now host only cash games. So therefore, selling most of my tournament sets to buy a custom cash set.
