I don't think it is just a matter of "value code terms." Nor do I think I could give you a range. An obsolete Nevada chip could be a lower letter value in TCR, but still tough to get because most of them are already locked up in collections. Or maybe locked up in a casino cage for years. Tougher to get does not always mean that the chip is selling for big bucks.
One example of tougher to get is the Hard Rock NCV chip pictured below. There were 1,000 made, but I have only seen TWO & I had both of them. Other than the two I acquired about 4 years ago, I have never seen another one in a chippers collection or one for sale, either here or on . This of course is one very tough chip to get. Even though I could get a nice piece of change for it, it is not a high range chip, cash wise. Unless of course the other 998 end up getting destroyed. Which I don't think will happen, but you never know.
