hello all, I am failry new and just wanted to see if i made a good move or not. I have a little knowledge but nowhere near the rest of you, but i stumbled upon what i think to be at least a fair deal. I was looking to give my collection a nice shot in the arm and ebay seems to decent for buying a chip here and there but not getting a bunch at once at any sort of good deal.

in any case i purchased 189 chips, they were all $5 chips and many obsolete. I got them all at $4.76 each. plus they are all framed, (not damaged in anyway).

i compared a lot of them to the chip rack values and even ebay auction prices and it seems fair at the very least.

there is a $5 MGM Marina, $5 Nob Hill and $5 Park were some of notables i could see. I figure at the very least the chips are obviously worth what i paid, as i could take them right to the cages, the ones that i cant because they are obsolete or the casino is gone, well i figure those have to be worth at least $4.76 then.

also 40-50 of them are from AC, Tahoe, etc, I am not really interested in these areas, so i am open to trade with someone for like $5 vegas chips. they are from a guy who had them from 20 or so years ago when he had gone and just saved them from his trips, so none are very current but at the same time they are not from the 50's or anything.
